Question

TurboTax screwed up my return i efiled and my 8915-F form on it. Even though i initially efiled with TurboTax, can i send in a amended return manually via mail?

TurboTax software is useless to fix the 8915-F form properly and their support is not helpful(their support helped get me in this mess). I feel it would be easier to mail in the amendment myself than dealing with the TurboClowns.

Well this “Turbo Clown” doesn’t recommend mailing anything to IRS unless you want to wait months to get it processed. The IRS has truckloads of mailed in returns and amendments. Expect to wait 4-6 months for a mailed in amendment. But what do I know I’m just a Turbo Clown.

I understand but what do you do when "TurboTax" refuses to help you even though their software is flawed and doesn't work properly? I'm at my wits end and have wasted countless hours talking with TurboTax phone support (the clowns) getting nowhere. I just want to fix this and move on? It's not like you can go into TurboTax and manually edit the forms they will not populate correctly. Seriously Questioning whether I'll use Turbo whatever next year I've lost faith in their product.
