Question

TurboTax suggested that I mail my federal return before completing my state return. I mailed federal return last week and don't know how or when to proceed?

TurboTax also shows that I started my State return but don't know if I should e-file until I get a status on my Federal Refund.

Since the federal tax return was not e-filed you can only print and mail the state tax return, it cannot be e-filed.
