Question

Turbox Tax Premier HSA deduction limit is wrong

It seems the  turbox software is wrong about  HSA  contribution limit for 2024.
The limit is set to $9,300 in software for married filing jointly ( both husband and wife are  55+  years).
If I increase HSA contribution to $10,300, the tax is going up instead of going down.
I can see it is complaining about excess HSA contribution in Federal Forms.
Anybody has similar issue for this issue?

I called support and the tech looked over my screen remotely,  but she cannot help much.

If you are making the additional contribution to only one Health Savings Account (HSA), then the limit is capped at $9300 for 2024 according to your age.

In order to both receive the additional $1000 contribution based on age, you must be contributing to an HSA for each of you.

Take a look at the following information from the IRS regarding contribution limits under rules for married people:

    IRS Publication 969
