Undo an "edited" .tax2021 file and revert to what I e-filed

I e-filed. Then reopened my .tax2021 file to check something but somehow it became "edited" and removed my entries to seemingly start anew. Not amended; "edited". Can I revert to the original .tax2021 with correct entries so have it for next year? Thanks.

"Can I revert to the original .tax2021 with correct entries so have it for next year? "

    YES.

    a) do so manually

    b) look for as saved snapshot that is consistent with what you filed.

You should not play around with your tax file once you SUBMIT it and it is ACCEPTED.

    Thanks for responding. Good advice!

I'm not sure how to do so manually. I have the software on my Mac laptop. Any further info you might provide as to how to locate it manually?

    Thanks again.

can't help you edit the edits you already did after you filed.

is it that you don't know what you changed?
