I received unemployment refund because I with held taxes on my unemployment payments. If the unemployment is not taxed and that amount is not included in taxable income, I fall below the income limit for income credit. Do I need to file an amendment to my taxes? And if so will I be eligible for additional refund?

All of your unemployment is not necessarily excluded from your income. Only the first $10,200 is excluded if you received more than that.

What do you mean by "income credit"? If you mean the Earned Income Credit (EIC or EITC), then yes, you have to file an amended return to get the credit if you were not eligible for it on your original tax return. When you prepare the amended return you will see if it gives you an additional refund. It probably will, but if it doesn't you don't have to file the amended return.
