Turbo Tax has updated the Unemployment Tax Break amount. This automatically increased my Recovery Rebate Credit from $792 to $1,200. Do I need to file an Amendment for this specific increase, or will this be done by the IRS in recalculating the Unemployment Tax Break amount?
No, you do not need to file an amendment. The IRS will make adjustments automatically since you claimed Recovery Rebate Credit on your return.
