US bank account number not accepted

Where are you entering your bank account number and it is not accepted? If you can provide more info, we'll try to help.

for direct deposit/debit of taxes due/to be paid. Where else would you enter this info.

don't mix the routing number on the left of a check with the account number on the right. sometimes the check number appears next to the account number. this cannot be included. the account number should be all numbers no letters or special characters.

No I did not mix them up. I finally figured out a fix by going to the actual page (form) this info is entered in. I discovered the software was adding a character at the end of the account number. Deleted it and continued in the software.
