i filed my employee w2 forms with intuit but it is still showing efile processing for over 48 hours now, what is happening?

Please be patient, it's a busy time at the IRS.

This simply means that your e-filed return is being processed and that the government hasn't approved or rejected it yet.
Sometimes return status does not update for several days or even longer.
