Question

We deferred some of my husband's 2020 self employment taxes. Where can we see how much tax was deferred and when it's due?

You can find the self-employment tax deferral on schedule 3, part II line 12(e). It will flow to line 31 on your form 1040. The tax is due by December 31, 2021.

 

You can see form 1040 and schedule 3 while working in the online version of TuboTax as follows:

  1. Tools
  2. Tax Tools (left side of the menu bar)
  3. View Tax Summary
  4. Preview my 1040 (left menu bar)
