We received an additional W2 and needed to amend the state and federal returns. The software miscalculates the liability difference. How do I report a software error?
More specifically, it fails to correctly account for sales tax paid for online purchases on the state return. Instead of taking the difference between the final liability, it's taking the difference between final liability of the original return and the liability excluding the sales tax.
