If you are referring to your refund by check it comes from the US Treasury.

    TurboTax said it's a 3rd party bank that Intuit uses. 

    And is there a way to track the check ?

    what? i

    1) no fees are to be taken out of your refund then the DD is done by the IRS to the account listed on the return. Bad info and it goes back for them to send a paper check to the address on the return

    2) with fees to be taken out, the refund first goes to a third-party bank to split between you and Turbotax. it then forwards the balance on to the account you specified on your return. Bad DD info and it goes back to the IRS
