What do I put for the refunds if I never recieved my state taxes last year?

I just dont know if I should delete it or something because I never recieved my state taxes.

You only enter a state refund if you itemized on the federal return for 2022.  Last year, for 2022, did you deduct mortgage interest, property tax, etc. on an itemized return?   Or did you just use your standard deduction?   If you used standard deduction you do not need to enter a state refund.

 

That being said----what happened to your 2022 state refund?   Did you e-file the state return?  Was it accepted?  Did you track it last year on the state site?

Did the state keep the refund for some kind of debt ?   If so you DID  get the refund even if you did not get it in your hand.
