What does it meen when the irs gives u a deposit date but doesn't deposit it on the morning of that date

Per the IRS Refund timing page - it takes additional time for refunds to be processed after leaving the IRS, and for financial institutions to accept and deposit them to bank accounts and products like debit cards. Also, many financial institutions do not process payments on weekends or holidays, which can affect when refunds reach taxpayers.  If you are concerned, please reach out to your financial institution for information on how they process directly deposited funds. If after 5 days you have not received your refund in your account, you may want to contact the IRS.

Banking information for direct deposit is wrong

If you entered incorrect banking information for your refund, you can change it if your return is rejected.  If it is accepted, however, it is too late to change it.  The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS.  Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return.  Expect a delay of at least a couple of weeks to receive your refund.
