Question

What if I e-filed with Turbo Tax before 4/15, but the Check My Refund Status at IRS.gov/refunds still says "Still Being Processed?"

it's been more than 21 days.  I filed with Direct Deposit. The date I filed was 4/05/20. Now I received an email from Turbo Tax requesting my Filing Fees to be paid by 6/01/20 since my 2019 tax refund hasn't been issued?

Not sure if you heard about this virus thing that shut down the world which included the IRS ... things are being processed much slower than normal ... so read the email you got ...

See this TurboTax support FAQ for paying the TurboTax account fees - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-tur...

If your return was accepted and showing ''still processing'', then the IRS has your return.  The IRS is closed & they are not taking phone calls.  They are still processing e-filed returns & stimulus checks but they have been behind.

It is taking the IRS longer to process returns since they are closed.  They are still processing e-filed returns but the 21 days (business days) is not the standard now due to Covid-19.  The IRS is not processing mailed in returns at this time.

All you can do now is keep checking the IRS website, Where's My Refund, the website updates once a day.   And see the link in the answer above regarding TurboTax fee processing.
