What if my credit karma money account is closed? Can i still get my tax advance sent to my savings ?

If your credit karma account is closed, then it is automatically declined.

Well my taxes went into my money spend account even though I was told it was closed and they couldn't re open it and now I have no idea how to access my tax return because turbo tax said I wouldnt need to amend my return since they shouldn't have been able to deposit it and credit karma said " we might be able to send you a check" so it looks like they're just trying to scam people by saying the account was in the negative so we had to close it when the account cant even be overdrawn, I'll be contacting the Better business bureau and I suggest you do the same 

Literally did the same exact thing to me I contacted bbb on Feb 23rd about this I called irs and confirmed check was deposited and accepted with credit karma spend account after it had been closed Feb 1 out of the blue 

I have been fighting with Credit Karma since February 7th, after receiving a email that they will be closing my account but didn’t list why. They closed my account on February 9th for no reason. They keep telling me I’ll receive an email as to why. Never have received it, and I’ve check my junk/spam folders. My funds from the IRS was sent 2/23. TurboTax told me to contact Credit Karma. Credit Karma tells me to contact TurboTax. No one can tell me where my money is or how I’m going to receive it. First time using TurboTax in many years, and it will be my last time. 

My refund was said to be deposited on the 23rd of February but the account was closed on the 7tb of February after reading the fine print on turbo tax I called green dot bank they handle deducting your fees out of ur refund before they make the funds available to your account because credit karma had closed the account they mailed a paper check to my address that was on my return 

Have you figured anything out?  Same happened to me. I did the refund advance. Then 2 days before deposit was to be made they closed my account for NO REASON.  Now I’m lost on my refund. They probably just stole all my money!

I can’t believe everyone’s responses to this issue. I have been going round and round with the people at credit karma. They have literally told me the same thing. I said your tell me you don’t see a deposit yet you’re telling me that a check will be mailed. I said which is it. IRS website shows it was deposited on 2/23/23 and yet you magically closed my account without my knowledge. I am not get through to anyone for any help. 

I filed my taxes and thought it was a bright idea to use CK again since I didn’t have an issue last year. However, I went to request a new card a found out my spend account was closed for -.17. The representatives at CK do not know what to tell people who want answers to why the account was closed or how there is a negative balance. They also don’t know whether your deposit will be rejected or why they are unable to see if the deposit was rejected. I called the IRS and they confirmed that CK has not returned my money so now I have to wait 3 weeks before I will know anything. I have been filing my taxes with TurboTax for 12 years and this will be my last round after this debacle. If anyone has any useful information to help me find my money please advise

I called green dot also.  They actually answer your questions so that was refreshing.  I too am being mailed a check.
