What is ESQ code in line 14 of the W2 for 2025

This year Turbotax desktop quality reduced. I purchase in early January but can not start using because lot of forms missing and its not ready. Missing w2 import from payroll service provider. I had to scan and upload image. It missed filling line 14. When I try to update, I can not find the option for ESQ code.

Code ESQ in box 14 on your W-2 has no tax meaning.

It is something your employer's payroll uses and is only known to them.

SOMETIMES Box 14 will report a tax and that can be used on the tax return, but people that pay this type of tax know they pay it and they know it's reported in Box 14.

ESQ is not one of these coded taxes.

box 14 really has no standards as to what an employer can enter. Only your employer can tell you what ESQ stands for. that's why you can't find anything specific in Turbotax
