What should I do if my federal and state returns still say pending after 5 days?

I filed my federal and state returns 5 days ago and both still say pending. Since I filed mine I have filed returns for 2 family members and they have all been accepted within 24 hours. How do I check to make sure my returns were properly submitted by Intuit?

It can take time for the IRS to process Federal returns, and State returns can remain in Pending status a little longer since it is processed via your state of residence and not via the IRS.
