I finished filing my taxes this year and Turbo claims the reports were accepted. however i then got a message on Turbotax saying i still owe $80 in taxes. Does this mean I need to fix my tax return or can i just send them the money directly? I have yet to get my tax return and I'm guessing this $80 debt has something to do with that

If your tax return showed that you were getting a refund and you chose to have your TurboTax fees paid from your refund, you also agreed to pay TurboTax for those fees directly if your refund was delayed too long. Could this be the reason TurboTax is saying you owe them money? It's money to pay TurboTax fees not to pay the government for taxes.

i dont think so, it says "$80 Total 2019 Tax Due" right on my home screen, right next to what says federal and State E-file ACCEPTED

If you owe taxes to the government, you don't get a refund. Look on your form 1040 tax return and see what is on the two lines for refund and taxes owed. If you are getting a refund, it is on line 20 of form 1040. If you owe taxes, the amount owed is on line 23 of form 1040.

If you owe taxes, you must pay them to the IRS. You can use a voucher printed by TurboTax or you can just use IRS direct pay: https://directpay.irs.gov/directpay/payment?execution=e1s1
