When can I expect my stimulus check?

The only information available about your individual economic impact payment is what is available here: IRS Get my Payment Tool. There is no other source for this information.

If you have not yet received your federal refund, it is likely that your tax return is still processing.  You economic impact payment ("stimulus check") is likely being held until processing is complete. 

The IRS is operating with limited staff as many of its centers are still closed.  Returns are still show in the status processing because there is limited to no (in some departments or centers) staff to process them. The same is true for live phone service.

It is not yet known when normal operations will resume but once they do continued delays are expected due to extensive backlogs of processing.
