When I filed my 2021 tax return I I had an account that I had to deposited it into since then that account is closed, but I had an amended return sent to that account

I amended my 2021 tax return and it said the funds were paid on October 14th 2022 but that account is closed

Refunds on amended returns are ONLY issued by a paper check mailed to the address on the return.

If you are referring to a refund, if it can’t be deposited into a bank account you will receive a check in the mail.
