When I reported tuition paid for son's college I accidentally included housing, do I need to do an amendment?

If you have already filed and submitted the Return and it was Accepted and will be Processed, Then yes a Amended or "Corrected' Return needs to be submitted once your Refund has been received. Amended returns have to be mailed in to the Irs.
