First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

    To track your state refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Expect your Federal tax refund to be held until February 15 and received by the first week of March if you have electronically filed your 2021 Federal tax return and received confirmation that the IRS has accepted your tax return.

The IRS is required by law to hold the refund.  See IRS here.

When you check the IRS WMR?  tool  they will let you know if you are affected by the PATH act or not ... https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Perhaps, if there are no problems with the return, however see the statements given out by the IRS recently.

Be prepared for a delay based on IRS statements.

Will my refund be delayed with child tax credit?

Claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Child Tax Credit will slow down your tax return due to regulations designed to deter fraud, but that means people who claim those credits and filed their returns on January 24 or close to that date may not receive their refund until early March, the IRS said.

The Treasury Department warned this week (January 21st) that this year's tax season will be a “frustrating” one, and that tax refunds will likely be delayed due to a massive backlog of unprocessed returns from 2021.
