The date provided by the IRS is the date they sent your refund to your bank. It takes additional time for refunds to be processed once sent by the IRS, as well as for your bank to accept and deposit the refund to your bank account. Many bank's do not process payments on weekends or holidays and since today is a federal holiday, that may be why you are seeing a delay. If you don't see it in a day or two, contact your bank to find out how long it takes them to receive and process your refund.

I still haven’t received my federal in my bank account.I don’t know if I’m getting my refund or it’s coming at a later date

Once your tax return has been submitted, the most up to date information will come from the IRS.

It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates.
