When will I receive my federal return? It has been 4 weeks. I even put it for direct deposit. Well it be possible to get it as a check?

The most accurate way to track your refund is to use the "Where's My Refund?" tool. If you selected direct deposit (which is the quickest method to receive your refund) then the IRS will deposit your refund into the account that you chose. You're not able to change your method of payment after filing.
