Where do i print out my amended return

i amended my return to add in my 1095-A. what do i need to do now? do i print the new return and mail it to the IRS or does Turbotax do that for me?

You will need to need to print the amended return Form 1040X and mail it to the IRS at the address in the filing instructions that print when you print your return.

After you finish amending, TurboTax will walk you through the printing process and provide the address to mail the amendment, along with any required forms and attachments.

Follow the instructions below to print an amended return.

Open the amended tax return that needs to be printed.
Click the Review tab along the top of the screen.
Step through the interview until you come to the page that says "Print and Mail your returns.”

If you have already amended your return and you are having a hard time locating the 1040X, try using the Tools option and select Topic Search. Type in 1040X and you should be able to navigate back to the area where you can print this form.

You should also be able to select My Account (online version only) and then Print Center, and select the 1040-X for printing.

On Feb 5, 2020 I amended my 2018 returns. Your instructions below are not accessible as I can only print the 219 page PDF version which does not have any options to REVIEW.

My 2018 amended return has not been attached to my turbo tax acct in the docs section and I need it for my financial aid.

If you completed a 2018 federal amended tax return, Form 1040X, using the online editions then the form will be in the PDF download.

To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
