Where do I sign and date my printed return?

This is the first time I'm unable to file electronically. I printed my return, and the instructions say to make sure I sign and date it, but I can't find a single place to do that!

I absolutely have nothing like that on my 1040. I have looked through every page three times as well as asked my partner to do so for me. Neither of us can find anywhere where a signature is requested.

There is only one 1040 form. Everyone files a 1040. What do you have? Is it a 1040SR?

Why can't you efile? Is the AGI rejecting?

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

my printed 1040-SR has no page anything like the one in the answer!!! ???

The 1040SR is 3 pages. You sign on the bottom of page 3.
