Where is my 2024 tax return stored

2024 returns are the returns everyone is working on now---so do you mean the most current return---or do you mean the 2023 return you would have prepared and filed in 2024?

If you used the desktop CD/download software, then the 2023 return is stored on your own hard drive.  If you used online TurboTax it is stored in your online account.  That will be true for any tax year----desktop is on your hard drive, online is stored online.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
