If you chose to pay any TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund, have you accounted for the fees and the extra $40 service fee for that option ($45 for California filers?)

If you are getting both Federal and state refunds, they come separately.

If you are referring to a Federal refund, how does it compare to what the IRS say they sent at the "Where's My Refund" tool?

If you paid fees out of your Federal refund, that's handled by a third-party bank and administered by SBTPG.   They have a refund lookup tool on their website.  Choose the "For Taxpayers" portal at:

If the IRS reduced your refund, you should get a letter from them in about 3 weeks explaining why and what recourse you might have if you disagree.
