Where to Click to Amend 1040

I need to amend my 2020 1040 for a late form that was just received. I filed my 1040 in early March 2021 and my refund has been received. I don't see where to click in TurboTax to amend my 1040 so I can submit the 1040-X online.

I apparently was not clear. I am using TurboTax Deluxe on my PC and not online. Can I prepare the 1040-X on this version of TurboTax or only the online version?

    Click on Federal Taxes

    Click on Other Tax Situations

    Under Other Tax Forms

On Amend a return, click on the start or update button

To amend your 2020 income tax return for a tax form you received after you filed your income tax return, see How do I amend my 2020 return?

I have seen the directions below online but I don't see in TurboTax where to select 2020 and then click Amend. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

    1. Sign in to TurboTax.
    2. Scroll down to Your tax returns and documents, select 2020, then Amend (change) your return.
      1. If you only see the option to amend 2019 or earlier, it's because you can't amend an unfiled 2020 return. Instead, select Pick up where you left off so you can make any changes before you file.

Is it possible you used another TurboTax account to prepare your tax return? Do you have two accounts?

Let's try it another way. Select Tax Home from the left menu. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents. Select Show. You should be able to select 2020 and Amend.

The reason I don't show 2020 is because I have not filed a 2020 income tax return.
