You can file an amended tax return to change the answer to the "Someone can claim me as a dependent" question.  Depending on your income and whether you are eligible for other tax credits, it may make a difference in the refund you receive.

In particular, if you are eligible for the American Opportunity Tax Credit for education expenses, or the Earned Income Tax Credit for low income wage earners, your refund may be more.

Click this link for instructions on how to file an amended return with TurboTax.  Be sure to follow the directions closely, and don't make any changes until TurboTax tells you to do so

If the amended return results in a larger refund, you will need to print and mail the amended tax return.  If not, you can just cancel the amendment.

But will that amendment automatically generate the stimulus payment?

I don't think that is 100% clear yet.  If it doesn't, you will be able to claim it on your 2020 return you complete in 2021.
