Who gets credit for social security when filing married filing jointly for small business. TurboTax did not ask who earned what money.

If this is a joint venture, you will need to file 2 schedule C's, as if you have 2 separate businesses. Enter the Social Security number for each of you on your respective schedule C.

Be sure to split the income and expenses by the percentage of who did the work. If you both contribute evenly, split everything in half. 

It is easiest to report an asset, such as a vehicle, on one schedule C and continue with that schedule C for that asset year after year.
