Why am I getting emails saying my federal return can't be filed until I add my 2016 AGI when the TurboTax site says my federal return has been accepted?

It could be that you have more than one TurboTax account it is a common reason.

After you submitted your return by clicking "Transmit my returns now" you can check your status to ensure the return was transmitted successfully by using our e-file status lookup tool.

Also, your status is prominently displayed when you sign in to TurboTax Online or open your return in the CD/download version on your computer.
