Why are my state taxes taking so long to be accepted?

My federal taxes were accepted in a couple of days but it’s been 2 weeks since I filed my state ones and they are still pending

    Depends on which state is involved.

     

    Like, I think CO just started this week.

    I am going to guess you are filing in Colorado.

     

    You can watch this website to see when the Colorado Department of Revenue Online will be ready to accept returns. Once they are, your return will be forwarded to them.

     

    Refund processing times after filing is determined by the Colorado Department of Revenue.
