The IRS is currently processing your return, you should be hearing something soon unless there are any refund offsets or corrections needed. if there are any offsets they will notify you in writing. Please take a look at the link below.

Why do some refunds take longer than others?

According to the IRS and Oklahoma State there was some type of error when our taxes were filed. Can you check on this? It has been over 5 weeks since we filed our taxes. At this point is wasn't worth paying turbo tax to electronic file our taxes.

If your returns are in the status of PROCESSING, that means that both the IRS and the State Dept of Revenue accepted them and TurboTax no longer has any control over them.

While most refunds are issued within 21 days of the return being accepted, not the date it was filed, sometimes there can be delays.

Please see the following information about contacting the IRS if it has been more than 21 days since your return was accepted:

Did you e-file or mail your return?

If you e-filed, check the status of your return.

Here's help for checking your e-file status:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/how-do-i-check-my-e-file-status/01/25538#M91

In TurboTax if you don't see Pending or Accepted as the status, you may not have completed the e-file and you need to Transmit your return.

If you mailed your return:  The IRS asks you wait 4 weeks after you mail your return before looking up your refund at Where's My Refund?

This is what your return has to go through before everything is finished.
