Question

Why are there 2 different dates on my refund accepted status. Email states accepted on Feb.2 but turbo tax states refund accepted Feb. 4, why?

If you are referring to TurboTax e-file status and the IRS website. You want to go by the IRS  Where’s My Federal Refund? site for the most up to date information.

Or, if you are seeing two dates on the IRS website and you claimed Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), the IRS may have reset the acceptance date due to these credits in your tax return. Please see the link below for more information:
