Why aren't I able use my Navy Federal Credit Union acct for direct deposit

It keeps stating to use an US financial Institution... WTF???

Please confirm that you are entering the correct routing number and account number. For a list of Navy Federal Credit Union routing numbers, please click here. For information on how to find the account and routing number on a check, please click here. If all information entered is confirmed to be correct and you are still getting the same error, please let us know.
