Why can't I ust do direct deposit like I do every year

While filing my return this afternoon, I noticed a strange bank account and routing number for direct deposit. Turbo tax instructions said to click continue then change the bank when it comes up. I clicked and it said I'm all done, my return has been transmitted. I got someone from Turbo Tax to call me and after a bit of checking, they realized my bank was set to pay to Credit Karma, and they would mail me a card to use to get my money. Why did you do this to me???? I just wanted the money to go to my bank account, not some third party. I'm really pissed about this!!! If this goes sideways on me you can count on losing a customer, but you may gain a law suit!
