Why cant they find my federal taxes i mailed in on march 11, 2020?

It depends.

 

The online link is your best option to track your refund.  I have attached a link with more answers from the IRS as to why your refund may be taking longer to process.

Also, be aware, the IRS operations are limited during the Covid-19 pandemic.  This includes the processing centers that handle returns that are mailed in.  Once the social distancing limitations are lifted, the returns that have been mailed in during this time period will be processed.
