Why did my federal refund ticker amount decreased when I started working on my state return (VA)?

Prior to Turbotax transferring my federal information to the state return, my federal refund amount was approximately 2250. Once I started my state return the federal refund amount dropped by $145.

Go back through your federal return (starting at the Personal Info tab) and make sure everything's correct. You can also delete your state return and then start it again if you believe there is an error in the information transfer after you checked your federal return.
