Question

why did my tax return change so much ? if they only said $88 to get my refund from both state and federal together. and now am only getting back $474.00 I don't agree

    TurboTax doesn't have any information about your refund after your taxes are filed.  The IRS often makes changes to tax returns if there are errors on them.  You should check with the IRS to see if they changed your refund.

     

    You can create an account here to look at your 2024 tax return and see what changes were made.

     

    The IRS will also send you a letter to the mailing address that you put on your tax return explaining any changes that they made.
