Why did they tell me I was gonna get 3000$back as returned and then try to make me send in a check or over than amount

I never technically finished fileing them so why is turbo tax still trying to charge me over 3000$

What is being charged? Your Order Summary in the File section on Step 1 shows your charges.

You can clear your return and start over to remove the charges or you can remove individual charges.

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:
