Why did turbotax say my return was accepted on 2/11 but the IRS says it was accepted on 3/5?

I called IRS and asked why i have not received my refund after 21 days. They stated they just received it on Friday 3/5 exactly 21 days when it was supposed to be completed. I don't think they are telling the truth, but i did receive an email from Turbotax on both days telling me it has been accepted.

Turbo Tax will not know the status of a return or refund. 21 days is not an exact, yet just an estimate of how long it can take to complete a tax return. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.
