Why didn't I receive all of my state refund? It wasn't even half the amount I received.

Only your state would know why your refund was different. You will receive a letter explaining the change in your return and what to do if you don’t agree. The letter can take a couple of weeks to receive. You can also contact your State’s taxing authority for information.
