Why hasn't my NYS tax return been accepted?

    Are you sure it went through and wasn't rejected?

    You said you filed your New York tax return by mail. When you file by mail the tax return does not get "accepted" or "rejected." That's only for e-filing. Here is a link to check the status of your New York refund.
