Why hasn’t my refund been accepted yet it’s almost been two weeks

Refunds are not "accepted", they have to be "approved".  Did you e-file your return, or did you mail it in?  If you e-filed it check the status and then see the following information about the various stages that your Return will go through before your Refund can be approved.

Most Federal refunds are issued within 21 days of the return being accepted by the IRS (this is not based on when you filed).   Please keep in mind that once you e-file or mail your return only the IRS has any control over it.
