Why hasn't my return been submitted? The IRS will begin accepting e-file returns on January 29, 2018. Today is the 31st.

Your right, The IRS began processing and accepting returns on January 29, however, because of the backlog of pending and held-over returns by early filers there might be a delay in IRS processing until mid February.

Use https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/ to get your current status (pending, accepted, or rejected). Once accepted use this link https://www.irs.gov/refunds Where's My Refund? to check the status of your federal tax refund.
