Why haven't I received my C.A. star refund but I did receive my federal return?

Only the state tax agency will know what all they are doing with your state return.  Some states are quick with refunds, while others take a long time--even weeks--as they crack down on fraudulent returns.

California is usually pretty quick, however.  So we can tell you some things to check.

If you efiled the state return, use the tool below to be sure the state return was successfully efiled and accepted:
