Why is my 2021 tax info from last years turbo tax filing not prefilling like in past years?

Are you in exactly the same account with the same user ID? You have to be in exactly the same account or you cannot transfer 2021 to 2022. And you have to do that transfer at the very beginning before you enter any 2022 information.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
