Question

Why is my refund taking so long?

I filed on February 8th, and I'm still waiting on my tax refund. I check the status everyday, but it still says it's being processed. Now TurboTax wants to charge me for their services, but it was supposed to come out of my refund. Why should they get to charge me , if they haven't produced my refund?

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.

Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?

When you choose to pay your TurboTax fees from your Federal refund & there is a delay in the processing of your return/refund, then per the Refund Processing Agreement, TurboTax can deduct the fees from your bank account.

Why was my bank account auto-debited for TurboTax fees?
