The receipt of your refund 5 Days Early is subject to IRS submitting refund information to us at least 5 days before the refund settlement date. IRS does not always provide refund settlement information 5 days early. You will not be eligible to receive your refund 5 Days Early if:
(1) you take a Refund Advance loan
(2) IRS delays payment of your refund
(3) your bank’s policies do not allow for same-day payment processing.
5 Days Early fee will be deducted directly from your refund prior to being deposited to your bank account. If your refund cannot be delivered 5 Days Early, you will not be charged the 5 Days Early fee. 5 Days Early program may change or be discontinued at any time.

If that’s the case, then why are they holding onto my refund. It’s absurd that everyone that didn’t pay the fee to get their refund 5 days early have received their refunds way before anyone that paid the fee and was denied receives theirs. This was a gimmick and because the irs didn’t release the funds in time for turbo tax to make the $25 fee, they are holding them till the dd date? I also pay to have live help through turbo tax and can never get any live help and instead it makes me post on the community or speak to a bot agent?? Turbo tax will not get my business ever again. I can do them free elsewhere and have my refund a lot quicker.
